2019 Ram 1500 Price to Start at $33,340 for Tradesman Trim
The base model 2019 Ram 1500 has been priced from $33,340 for the base-level Tradesman trim level, including $1,645 in destination.
For that price, buyers will land themselves in a 2019 Ram 1500 Tradesman Quad Cab 4×2 with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine and ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. The 5.7-liter HEMI V8 can be added to Tradesman, Big Horn and Rebel Ram 1500 models for $1,195, while the HEMI with eTorque adds $1,995 to the price.

Apart from the new mild hybrid powertrains, the 2019 Ram 1500 is also 100 pounds lighter than the outgoing truck thanks to its new platform and the use of aluminium in the tailgate, front axle, engine mounts and elsewhere. The interior also underwent a major overhaul, offering some upscale upholstery and trim and a huge 12-inch touchscreen.

A little pricey? Sure. But compared to the competition? Not really. The current outdated Chevy equivalent is $32,795 and Ford $31,790. I'm just basing that on engine and chassis--the Ram may offer more standard features. Don't know yet. I'm also disappointed guys! This is old news. Y'all are late on this one and it is the most relevant auto news story in the last several days. Also, where's the detail? Or a link on where to find it? I read a far more in depth breakdown of the pricing structure on two other auto sites at least a day ago. :(
