Build Your Own 2019 Ram 1500 With New Online Configurator
The 2019 Ram 1500 was the hottest new vehicle at this year’s 2018 Detroit auto show.
It’s not hard to see why. The Ram team did a great job restyling the pickup both inside and out, stripped about 250 lbs of weight from it and applied a good amount of new technology. Now the truck maker has launched its online configurator for the new half-ton, allowing you to build your dream 2019 Ram 1500 right from the comfort of your home.

The configurator also gives us a good insight into how the Ram 1500’s trim levels and pricing structures will work. The lineup starts with the work ready Tradesman and continues up the ladder with the Big Horn followed by the Laramie, the Rebel, the Laramie Longhorn and the range-topping Limited. All trim levels will be available with either the 3.6-liter V6 or 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine.
Our example truck is a Ram Rebel with the eTorque 5.7-liter HEMI V8. We selected the must-have four-corner air suspension, which required us to also select from either the Rebel Level 1, or Rebel Level 2 equipment groups, which each add a laundry list of content to the pickup. We also selected a Bright White exterior color, which pairs well with the black/red interior – the only available upholstery color for the Rebel from launch.
