The Lexus LF-1 Limitless will make its official debut at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show.

The Japanese luxury automaker was relatively quiet at the 2017 L.A. Auto Show, introducing a new three-row Lexus RX L model that offers seating for seven. It wasn’t a terribly exciting reveal for the brand, considering the Lexus RX has been one of its most popular models for decades now. But that’s going to change next year at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, as Lexus has already begun teasing the LF-1 Limitless Concept.

The company didn’t have much to say about it, but did promise the concept will reflect “the next genre in luxury crossover vehicles.” Created by CALTY design studio in Southern California, the LF-1 Limitless will preview a possible flagship model for the brand.

Like other luxury automakers, Lexus is putting a focus on expanding its crossover and SUV lineups, especially now that the RC and LC models take care of the brand’s sportier side.
