2018 Land Rover Discovery Arrives Early Next Year

Pricing and changes for the 2018 Land Rover Discovery has been announced.

Set to arrive dealerships early next year, the 2018 Land Rover Discovery will start from $53,085 including destination. The standard Land Rover Discovery SE model comes equipped with a 3.0-liter supercharged gasoline V6 engine with 340 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. The Discovery HSE model is priced from $55,085, while at the top of the range is the HSE Luxury trim with a starting price of $66,485.

Available on all trim levels is a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel V6 engine with 254 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque for $2,000 additional. All models feature an eight-speed automatic transmission.

For the 2018 model year, all Discovery models now feature the Land Rover InControl Touch Pro infotainment system with a 10-inch touchscreen on the center console as standard. The SUV also benefits from the addition of a 12.3-inch Interactive Driver Display TFT instrument cluster as standard on HSE and HSE Luxury models. HSE and HSE Luxury models also offer an optional second-generation Head-Up Display (HUD) that now has approximately 2.5 times more display space than its predecessor.

Another new standard feature on all models is the British automaker’s Emergency Braking system with pedestrian detection. It was previously only available as a standalone option.
