Lamborghini is celebrating two production milestones for its Aventador and Huracan supercars this week.

The Sant’Agata, Italy based manufacturer has built 7,000 examples of the Aventador over the past six years – a surprisingly high number for what is essentially the automaker’s flagship car. The Huracans build numbers may shock you even more, though. Lamborghini says it has built 9,000 Huracans in just three years.

The 7,000th Aventador to roll off Lamborghini’s Italian assembly line was an Aventador S Roadster finished in a Grigio Adamas exterior color, which is destined for the United States. The 9,000th Huracan produced is a Blue Nethuns Hurcan Performante, which will go to a customer in Dubai.

Lamborghini’s annual production is set to double to 7,000 units a year after the introduction of the Urus SUV. The automaker has plans to grow its number of dealers from 132 to 160 globally and recently opened new dealerships in Virginia and Ontario. The Urus will make its debut in Italy on December 4th before arriving at Lamborghini dealers sometime next year.
