The 2018 Lexus LC500 will be showcased in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Black Panther film.

Set to arrive theaters on February 16, 2018, Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, and Lupita Nyong’o and takes place following the events of Captain America: Civil War. Lexus has also teamed up with Marvel Custom Solutions to create an original graphic novel that will also feature the Lexus LC500 with a new Wakandan spin as it helps the Black Panther defeat a legendary villain.

It appears Marvel doesn’t play favorites when it comes to automotive product placement in its television and movie series. Audi and Acura have both been featured in previous Marvel movies, including the most recent Spider-Man: Homecoming. But Lexus has also been showcased in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. television series, so this isn’t the first time the Japanese luxury automaker has teamed up with Marvel.

“Marvel continuously captures audiences through charismatic characters and inspiring stories — the ideal fit for Lexus’ mission to craft amazing, engaging experiences,” said Brian Bolain general manager, Lexus marketing. “And the LC’s aggressive styling, high performance and agile handling are a perfect fit for the Black Panther’s quick, cat-like reflexes and superhuman feats. We’re excited to see the duo in action.”
