The Lexus LC luxury sports coupe will make its debut at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show.

The Japanese automaker will be live streaming its press conference this year that is scheduled to start on January 11 at 9:45 AM Pacific / 12:45 PM Eastern. Expected to make its debut is the Lexus LC coupe, based on the LF-LC concept. Rumor has it that the LC500 model will be powered by the same 5.0-liter V8 engine found in the RC F and GS F models, sporting around 467 horsepower. Joining it in the lineup will likely be a hybrid model that could have over 470 hp.

Lexus will also reportedly introduce the world’s first 10-speed automatic transmission sourced from Aisin in the LC500. The big question is whether the company will confirm a hotter LC F is in the works, or if we will have to wait longer to see if the rumored 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine pans out.
