2015 Lexus NX to Start at $35,405

Pricing for the newest Lexus crossover model has been announced.

The 2015 Lexus NX will be priced from $35,405 including destination while all-wheel drive on the NX 200t model will demand a $1,400 premium. The entry-level Lexus NX 200t features a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 235 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The NX 200t gets 22 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway while all-wheel drive returns 21 mpg in the city.

Those looking for a more fuel-efficient drivetrain can opt for the Lexus NX 300h which starts from $40,645. The NX 300h pairs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor for a total system output of 194 hp with the front-wheel drive model returning 35 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. The all-wheel drive NX 300h is rated at 33 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.

Pricing for the 2015 Lexus NX 200t F Sport has not been announced.

    Unlike some automakers, I am glad Lexus is taking styling risk that does not please everyone. So far, I like most of their designs.
