Luxury SUV builder Land Rover is recalling 40,551 of its SUVs because the front passenger side airbag might not deploy.

The campaign affects LR2 SUVs from the 2010 to 2015 model years along with Range Rover Evoques from the 2012 and 2013 model years. In the affected vehicles, an electronic component that senses the front seat passenger can malfunction and prevent the airbag from going off during a crash. Land Rover expects to start its recall campaign by August 30 and will ask owners to bring their vehicles to a dealer service center to have the unit re-programmed.

According to NHTSA documents, there are 17,066 LR2 models affected and 23,485 Evoque SUVs included in the recall through the U.S.
