Dodge Durango Gains Blacktop Appearance Package
Dodge has outfitted yet another model with its Blacktop Appearance package.
The three-row Durango is the latest model in the American automaker’s lineup to gain the Blacktop Appearance package, which includes unique wheels, a dual exhaust and Gloss Black accents. The Blacktop Appearance package will be available on the Durango SXT, Limited and R/T models and will be priced from $295.
The $295 Blacktop Appearance package is available on the R/T model adding Gloss Black 20-inch wheels, gloss black crosshair grille with matching grille surround and gloss black badges. On the SXT models, the Durango will receive the same 20-inch wheels, grille treatment and badging, but also adds dual rear exhaust with bright tips, Gloss Black side mirrors, black headlight bezels and body-color bumpers and moldings. Pricing for the package on the SXT model is set at $1,590.

Limited models will include all of the SXT package’s treatment in addition to HID headlights and LED daytime running lights. Durango Limited buyers will have to pay a $1,990 premium for the Blacktop Appearance package.
The Blacktop Appearance package is available on seven of Dodge’s 2014 model year vehicles: Charger, Challenger, Dart, Durango, Avenger, Journey and Grand Caravan.
