Hellcat Challenger Might Be Limited to 1,200 Units

Act quickly if you’ve got your eyes on the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat because there might not be very many coming.

According to a recent report from Edmunds, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat could be limited to just 1,200 units. Though the American automaker hasn’t confirmed the figure, CEO Tim Kuniskis said the company is still determining which dealerships will be allowed to sell the high-performance model. The company currently has about 2,400 dealerships in the U.S.

The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine with 707 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque – even more than the SRT Viper, which makes 640 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat will be priced from $60,990 including destination.
