Pagani Mystery Teaser Likely Zonda R Evolution
Italian supercar maker Pagani has released a new mystery teaser, which is probably showing off the new Zonda R Evolution.
Based on the Zonda R, the Evolution package is rumored to add about 50 hp, reduce weight and run with better aerodynamics than the current car. Power will come from the same 6.0-liter V12 used in the Zonda R. Only five Zonda R Evolutions are expected to be produced, and should be able to sprint to 60 mph slightly faster than the 2.7 seconds advertised by the Zonda R.
Along with the photo, Pagani released a caption that reads, “The Revolution is about to begin,” further pointing towards this car being the Evolution-packaged Zonda R.
Already an incredibly fast car, the Zonda R is capable of lapping the Nürburgring Nordschleife in six minutes and 47 seconds. That time should be beat once the Zonda R Evolution finds its way onto the famed German track.
