2014 Fiat 500L Starts at $19,100, Arrives in June

The Fiat lineup is growing with the addition of the 500L which will arrive at American dealerships in June, 2013 with a starting price of $19,100, plus an $800 destination fee.

The 500L offers 42 percent more interior space than the regular 500, and can be had for about a $3000 premium over the standard model. Under the hood is a 160-horsepower 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine that can be linked up to either a six-speed manual or a dual-clutch six-speed automatic.

Four different trim levels are available for the 500L: Pop, Easy, Trekking and Lounge.

The base Pop model comes equipped with 16-inch chrome-accented wheel covers, air conditioning, power lock and windows with one-touch up/down, cruise control, body-color instrument panel, six speakers, Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) with trip computer, miles-to-empty, average fuel economy and tire-pressure monitoring (TPM) display. It also features a 60/40 split folding rear seat.

Bump up to the Easy model, and buyers get interior leather accents, a bumped up audio system, some small exterior changes and a front-seat center console. The 2014 Fiat 500L Easy model has a starting U.S. MSRP of $20,195.

The Trekking model is designed to be more rugged, and gets 17 x 7-inch aluminum wheels with wider 225/45R17 all-season tires. It also gets some unique interior accents along with fog lamps, satin-finished “whiskers,” door handles and unique lower front- and rear-fascia accents. The 2014 Fiat 500L Trekking model has a starting U.S. MSRP of $21,195.

Finally, the top-trim Lounge model comes with 16-inch aluminum wheels, fog lamps, chrome body-side moldings and mirror caps, dual sun visors with illuminated vanity mirrors, premium vinyl-wrapped instrument panel available in two colors, and heated leather front seats with power four-way adjust among other options. The top trim 500L prices in at $24,195.
