Fiat has announced pricing for the 2013 500e, with MSRP set at $32,500 while leasing is available at just $199 a month for 36 months with $999 due at signing.

The electric Fiat will launch in California initially, where buyers are also eligible for a $7,500 federal tax credit and another $2,500 from the state. That drops the 500e to an attractive and affordable $20,500 after federal credits, state incentives and Fiat rebates.

The Fiat 500e is officially rated at 122 MPGe in the city, 108 MPGe on the highway, and 116 MPGe combined. It has an official range of 87 miles, which ultimately makes it an impressive offer given its price.

“With unique Italian style, industry-best highway MPGe rating and class-leading combined driving range, we know we have a great car in our hands,” said Tim Kuniskis Head of FIAT Brand North America. “Now our task is to simplify the customer’s experience and make sure that people know how easy and affordable it can be to own our electric Cinquecento.”
