Ferrari had little in the way of sexy new sheetmetal to show off today at the Paris Motor Show, but the Italian exotic car maker did provide a look at its next supercar and the successor to the famed Enzo.

Company chairman Luca di Montezemolo wouldn’t give a hint as to what the car might be named, but did say it will be a big step forward in terms of technology, design and performance.

It will be based on an all-new carbon fiber monocoque, displayed on stage (and shown above), helping it be as light and rigid as possible said di Montezemolo, adding one last, but very important note.

Confirming past rumors and reports, he remarked that this new supercar, which will be unveiled early next year, will be a hybrid.
