Automotive journalists generally agreed in Geneva that the Bentley EXP 9 F SUV concept was ridiculous, but the negative feedback doesn’t seem to have changed any minds.

That’s because popular opinion doesn’t make a difference when the people holding those views can’t afford the price of admission. In fact, it seems that most Bentley customers approve of the vehicle’s design.

“A Bentley is not a car for everyone,” Bentley CEO Wolfgang Durheimer said. “In response to surveys, currently Bentley customers and other high-net-worth, potential Bentley customers, have rated the styling “only between 7 and 10.”

Unsurprisingly, the car will not be an off-road vehicle, though Durheimer did say it “will be able to sustain the stress of off-road driving,” going on to say that the truck will be able to climb Red Dune, a popular destination for off-roading near Dubai.

He also confirmed that the brand will provision for an available third-row seat so that families with two children will also be able to bring their au pair on trips.
