Already a limited edition model, the upcoming Aston Martin V12 Zagato will now be limited from the former 150-unit production run to only 101 cars.

Built of carbon fiber and aluminum, the complexity and timing behind the new Aston are why it has decided to cut 49 from its original plan according to MotorTrend. Each car takes approximately 2,000 hours to complete, meaning even at the current rate, the company will dedicate more than 23 years worth of man hours to creating the ultra-exclusive sports car.

While the information isn’t available yet, it seems likely that the cutback will drive Aston to up the $520,000 asking price on each of the new Zagatos it sells. Powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine capable of 510-hp and 420 lb-ft of torque, the car is certainly far from being the most powerful car on the road, or the most exclusive for that matter, but with so many lightweight components at work, it’s sure to be exciting.
