Brabus GLC 63 S is a 600 HP Compact Crossover That Can Do 186 MPH
German tuning company Brabus has unveiled its new PowerXtra B40 600 upgrade package for the Mercedes-AMG GLC G3 S.
The Brabus tuning program for the GLC 63 S has transformed the already fast GLC 63 into a 600 hp monster of a compact luxury crossover. Thanks to a new Brabus engine control module, the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 has been boosted from 510 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque to an incredible 600 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. What’s even more impressive is all 590 lb-ft is on tap between 1,750 and 4,500 RPM. This performance upgrade results in a faster 0-62 mph sprint of 3.6s and a higher top speed of 186 mph.

Brabus has developed a sports exhaust for the GLC 63 S with electronically-controlled exhaust flaps. The exhaust system includes a ‘Coming Home’ function that will reduce the system’s noise level so you don’t have the neighbours complaining about your racket-producing new crossover. There are a number of Brabus cosmetic upgrades available for the crossover as well, including naked carbon fiber exhaust finishers, a carbon fiber front lip add-on and carbon fiber intake surrounds. Brabus also offers a number of different ‘monoblock’ wheels for the GLC 63 S, ranging in size from 19- to 22-inches.
Rounding out the modifications is an available air suspension system called ‘Airmatic’. The system is capable of raising and lowering the ride height of the GLC 63 S by 1.2-inches, giving it a better overall stance and also improving its cornering performance.
While the example vehicle pictured here is a standard GLC 63 S, all of the upgrades mentioned here and shown on the vehicle are compatible with the GLC 63 S coupe as well.
