Aston Martin Vantage V600: a 600 HP V12 and a Seven-Speed Manual

The Aston Martin Vantage V600 has made its debut – sending the old ‘VH’ Vantage off in a fittingly extreme way.

The Vantage V600 serves as a spiritual successor to the twin-supercharged 1999 Vantage V600 Le Mans, which was the most powerful production car in the world when it was released. It was commissioned by a loyal Aston Martin customer through its Q customizations program and as such, features a variety of components and equipment not seen on any other VH Vantage models.

Under the hood of this radical Vantage variant is Aston’s 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, which is making just shy of 600 hp. It sends power to the rear wheels through a seven-speed manual transmission, which was introduced on the V12 Vantage S for the 2016 model year. It also features a full carbon fiber body, a redesigned hood with a large power dome, a larger redesigned grille and a quad-tip exhaust. Rounding out the package are lightweight forged centerlock wheels that are exclusive to the V600.

As you may expect, the interior mimics the exterior with carbon fiber and aluminum just about everywhere you look.

Aston Martin will build 14 Vantage V600 examples in total: 7 coupes and 7 roadsters. If you want in on this special program, you can reach out to Aston Martin now. Deliveries are expected to commence in Q3 of this year.
