The 2014 Acura MDX has dropped its heavy camo in the latest set of spy photos seen here, showing that the classic Acura beak will stay intact.

The MDX will share most of its DNA with the RLX, sporting a standard V6 engine sourced from the car. A hybrid variant will be offered as well, and will use Acura’s Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive system that can be found on the upcoming NSX supercar.

Design-wise, the MDX doesn’t stray too far from the last generation, with the largest change seeming to be the loss of some bulky body panels to give the crossover a smaller, sleeker look.

It should hit the market by late 2013, as a 2014 model.
